"It's funny how one summer can change everything. It must be something about the heat and the smell of chlorine, fresh cut grass and honeysuckle, asphalt sizzling after late-day thunderstorms, the steam rising while everything drips around it. Something about long, lazy days and whirring air conditioners and bright plastic flip flops from the drugstore thwacking down the street. Something about fall being so close, another year, another Christmas, another beginning. So much in one summer, stirring up like the storms that crest at the end of each day, blowing out all the heat and dirt to leave everything gasping and cool. the girl; My name is Chloe and I'm seventeen years old. I live on a tiny island, but never cease to dream big. I don't care about what others think about me, and enjoy doing the things I love to do. Life is too short to worry about those little things. I've also learned that you should never try and change who you are for anyone, because in the end, you're all you have. I'm not your average teenage girl. I'd rather stay at home in my pajamas rather than go out, and I'd choose a sleepover with my best friend over a party any day.
My idol icon? Meryl Streep. I don't think that will ever change. She is amazing at everything she does and is an inspiration for me every day.

Are you bored yet? It wouldn't surprise me if you were.

Music plays a huge part in my life, whether I'm making it, or listening to it. I always have my ipod with me and would probably die without it. I don't watch much TV, but to name a few, I love Glee, Grey's, CSI, and others. My family and friends mean the entire world to me and without many of them, I wouldn't be where I am today. I take my schoolwork very seriously, and often find myself stressing over the many tests, projects, and assignments people are faced with in high school. I love to read, and am usually found with my nose buried into a novel. I love my dog, my computer, and my sister. I love pasta, volleyball, to travel, the summer, and as hard as this may sound, shopping is just not my thing. I lead a crazy but boring life, and most of my posts are about the challenges..or excitements that I'm faced with everyday.
